Dear Parishioners of St. James:
Jesus Christ is risen, alleluia!
The Son of God defeated death and hell by rising triumphantly from the grave. The Lord loves us so much that He became man to give us union with Him through His life, death, and resurrection. In Him we live, in Him we die, in Him we are raised, alleluia! We can now live a supernatural life of grace in the Church through the Sacraments, alleluia!
May sadness flee this Holy Season. Death and sorrow give way to joyous new life. Our souls must rejoice in the victory of Jesus, a victory that He wants to share with those who believe and live in Him. Jesus is alive and will never die again, alleluia! Let angels and saints sing out in praise, alleluia! The gates of heaven are now open to us, alleluia!
