The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the third Saturday of the month at 10:00 am in English and the second Saturday of the month at 10:00 am in Spanish. Parents need to be registered members of the parish and should be faithful in attending Mass. Parents and Godparents are required to attend a Baptismal Preparation class. The class takes place on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 am in English and the fourth Saturday of each month at 4:00 pm in Spanish (please, no children). Please call the Parish Office (815-547-6397) to register for the class and Baptismal Saturday.
Requirements to be a Godparent: Must be a confirmed practicing Catholic, if married must be married in the Catholic Church. If not married in the church, please call a priest as soon as possible to celebrate your marriage in the Catholic Church.
