Dear Parishioners of St. James:
Praised be Jesus Christ!
Our sins have merited hell since we have offended the infinitely good God. But Jesus came to save us from our sins. By dying on the Cross and rising from the dead Jesus redeemed us sinners from eternal death. Forgiveness and reconciliation with God are now available in His Church through the Sacrament of Penance.
On Wednesday, April 6th, priests will be available at St. James Church from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm to hear Confessions and to reconcile souls to God. Has it been a year or more since your last Confession? Have you not gone to Confession since the Covid outbreak? This day is for you. Come and receive God’s saving grace.
Jesus came to save rather than condemn. He came in search of the lost sheep. Take advantage of this extraordinary day of God’s mercy for you. May you hear the words of Jesus at the end of your Confession: “Your sins are forgiven!”
