Dear Parishioners of St. James:
Praised be Jesus Christ!
Through the extraordinary generosity of a parishioner’s estate, we are able to finish the remaining work on our expanded church dedicated in December, 2014. The bequest directs our parish to fix the remaining stained glass window coverings, (and repairs to the windows) and to construct and install the steeple designed for the new addition which is now the main entrance of the church.
In the coming months construction will begin to remove and replace the existing plexiglass coverings on the stained glass windows of the old church to match the plate glass coverings on the new. Also, the new steeple is under construction and should be installed by September of this year. The construction will not affect anything inside the church, but you may notice some scaffolding during the next few months.
Please pray in thanksgiving to God and this generous family for allowing us to beautify even more our beloved church here at St. James!
