Praised be the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ!
The month of June is traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. When Our Lord appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque between the years of 1673-1675 He pleaded through her to the whole world to behold the love of His heart for mankind. Jesus showed St. Margaret Mary His heart: A burning furnace of charity crowned with thorns for the sins of mankind.
He shared with her His deepest sentiments. Jesus said that His heart is on fire with love for sinners. His deepest desire is to save us. In one message to her He said, “Behold this Heart which has loved men so much, and yet men do not want to love me in return. Through you my divine Heart wishes to spread its love everywhere on earth.”
The devotion to the Sacred Heart is needed today more than ever. Place an image of the Sacred Heart in your home. Consecrate your family to the Sacred Heart. Ask Him for the grace of faithfulness and final perseverance. Receive Him worthily in Holy Communion. Visit Him as much as you can in the Sacrament of Love, the Most Holy Eucharist, where His Heart lives and reigns until the end of time. May the Heart of Jesus truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament be praised, adored and loved at every moment in all the tabernacles of the world, even until the end of time.
