WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO CONTINUE YOUR CHILD’S RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Even after children receive First Holy Communion, it is important for your child to continue Religious Education Classes. For children who have received First Communion, the classes below are offered.
(Older children, after receiving First Communion, will be put in the grade level class they attend at school.)
3rd Grade – Continued study on the basic teaching of the Catholic Church
4th Grade – Basic teaching of the Catholic Church with focus of study on the Ten Commandments
5th Grade – Basic teaching of the Catholic Church with focus of study on the Seven Sacraments
6th Grade – Continues teaching of the Catholic Church with emphasis on the Word of God in the Old Testament – Including Revelation, the Church, Morality, and the Kingdom of God
7th Grade – Beginning of 2-year preparation for Confirmation
