Praised be Jesus Christ, Our Newborn King!
Christmas is about Jesus. God sent His only begotten Son to earth on a rescue mission to save us from sin, death, and the devil. Jesus was born of Mary, His sinless Mother, and entered a family in order to redeem mankind from the inside. Our only hope of salvation was born on Christmas Day 2023 years ago.
We need our Savior more today than ever before in history. Jesus Christ is the salvation of our souls. He is the only one Who can bring us to Heaven. He is God incarnate. Jesus Christ has all power in Heaven and on earth (Mt. 28:18). Belief in Him and participation in His saving Sacraments provide exclusive refuge from the evils of this world. He is supreme in His might and dominion in this world and the next.
Rejoice in the birth of the God-man! The One whose coming was foretold has indeed come to save us. He is our Emmanuel, God-with-us. May the heavens above and earth below sing His praises eternally. To Jesus Christ be glory, might, thanksgiving, and majesty now and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
