Dear Parishioners of St. James:
Praised be Jesus Christ!
Continuing with our catechesis during the Eucharistic Revival, we focus today on how the Most Holy Eucharist sends us out on mission to bring the whole world to faith in Jesus Christ.
Once we have come to believe that the Most Holy Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ we should tell the whole world about this saving truth. How many people do not realize that under the appearances of bread and wine the Saviour of the world dwells really and substantially? How many souls are languishing in their sins when they can unite themselves to the Redeemer Who bore them on the Cross made present in Holy Mass? How many people suffer under the weight of the evil one in slavery to sin when, after being reconciled in Confession, can be strengthened by every heavenly blessing by receiving the Most Blessed Sacrament?
Evangelization is bringing souls to Jesus, the only Savior of mankind. Simply tell people about the Most Holy Eucharist and let the Holy Spirit reveal Jesus to them. We don’t have to be experts in theology in order to be evangelizers. We cannot keep our faith in Jesus to ourselves! Bring Jesus to the world by sharing your love for Him truly present in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
