Religious Education: Catechist Aids Needed!
Do you love God and want to know Him better? Do you love children and enjoy working with them?
If you answered yes, God may be calling you to help in the faith formation of our students in the Religious Education Program. We have over four hundred children and youth in our program and, therefore, have larger class sizes. You can help by becoming a teacher’s aide to assist the catechist in the classroom.
God gives each of His children gifts to share with others. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. Are you willing to step out in faith and trust, and remain confident that Jesus will always be with you? You may find that sharing your faith by teaching is a distinct and irreplaceable way you are meant to answer Gods’ great commission.
We need assistance in the following classes:
Monday Evenings from 6:00—7:30 p.m. and Wednesday afternoons from 4:30—5:30 p.m.
No experience or prior education is required. The most important quality of a catechist is that they are a Catholic who faithfully practices their faith and have a desire to share that faith with young people.
