Death is the end of earthly life, a fact that “lends urgency to our lives.” It is a natural and inevitable process, but it is also a consequence of Original Sin. We should be concerned about death because we know that the state of our souls at death determines how we will spend eternity. If we are faithful to the end, death marks the beginning of our eternal life. Join Fr. Geary at 6:30 PM in Connolly Hall on Tuesday night for a discussion on the Last Things that will aptly remind us that death for the faithful is a rebirth into eternal life.
