The Fourth Commandment is not just for children. The wisdom literature of the Scriptures speaks often and frankly about the virtue and benefits of keeping this commandment, as well as the ills that befall one who does not. Our Lord gives us the best example in having been subject to Joseph and Mary and then all the way through to the cross in giving His Mother to us.
