Rosary Makers Update:
The rosary makers of our church would like to humbly thank those who have made donations for the purchasing of supplies for our rosary making. Our funds are now close to our projected annual cost for supplies and the shipping of rosaries that are sent, at times, to worldwide destinations. We are blessed by our generous parish members, and and please know that you are helping to build devotion to our Blessed Mother by praying the rosary!
We are a small group that is growing in the joy of making rosaries. In the last few years we have made and shipped around 6,000 rosaries a year to places such as Africa, Ecuador, Mexico, and numerous places around the U.S., as well as donations to various Rockford and Marengo parishes. These are just a few of the places our rosaries have been sent. The cost of making our rosaries has increased 40% this year, and the shipping has increased as well in the last few years. We are blessed with some donations from two generous groups at our parish, but they, too, do not have the same amount of funds to give us as in the past. There is a great demand for rosaries, especially for those who evangelize around the world teaching others about our beloved Mother with the help of our rosaries.
