Tear Drops Prayer Service

February 6th, 6:00 p.m.
St. James Catholic Church

It seems in today’s world that many people are pulled in so many directions that there ends up being no room for faith and God in their lives.

Whatever the reason, people stop coming to church and focusing on their faith; we need to pray for them. For those of us who want to pray for family, loved ones, and/or friends who have fallen away from their Catholic faith, we are offering a special prayer service to ask God to interact with them and move their hearts back to their faith and the Church.

Please join Deacon Steven at this prayer service in the sanctuary of St. James Church at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6th, as we join together to sing, listen to scripture, and pray for the intercession of St. Monica to help bring our loved ones back to our Catholic faith.

During this service you will have a chance to write the names of people you know, on a provided sheet of paper, who have fallen away from the Catholic Church. These intentions will be placed into a basket and then be blessed in front of the altar. At the end of the service, each participant will be asked to take a prayer intention sheet from the basket and pray for these people daily.

There is power in prayer so please join us to pray for our fallen away brothers and sisters!

We hope to see you there!
