It was a beautiful, but extremely hot day, to have our new steeple installed but the installers worked very hard to get the majority of the steeple installed in one day! The clock should be working in a couple more weeks,

First, all glory and praise to God! The newly expanded church was dedicated by Bishop Malloy in December of 2014. The steeple was part of the design, but it was out of our budget at the time of construction. Due to the generosity of an anonymous family here at St. James, we are blessed to finally complete the design for our beautiful St. James Church here in Belvidere. Again, thanks to the faithful people of St. James, the Bishop, and the holy angels of God for making this dream come true!
